 Yo peeps, 'new' hardware
Hey everyone
I'm sorry I haven't had time to come replace the PSU in the black beast, but I have good news!
I upgraded my personal system so i'll be bringing in my Athlon x2 3800+ (clocked at 2.5GHz), Abit An8-SLi, 2GB corsair DDR400 dual channel, and 1 or two 6800xt cards. This'll give KFJ a chance at getting Sli working with gentoo (im not sure if its possible or has been done... fyi)
I'll also throw my old Enermax noisetakerII into it so it runs...
Again all I ask is that I get notified when there are problems (and that nothing gets stolen ^.^)

[What time/day is the meeting this week? (im out of the loop). [I'd like to come do this this week to get the crap out of my way at home. [And... I'll leave the kernel rebuilding to you KFJ...

We did manage to replace the PSU on that machine, it is working. SLI does work in Linux.
However, that case has poor grounding, as it has blown out one external NIC and the onboard NIC.

I guess I'll make a plan for next monday then.
But poor grounding? I used that case for well over 2 years with no issues. I have no idea why you would have such problems.
